COLWELL, STEFANO, ULLMAN & OLSON WIN ON SUNDAY
ULLMAN, FRANK & BAKER WIN MONDAY
(KANE, PA) The Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI 4cyl. Chargers would be the first feature of the evening. Jamie Colwell (Knox, PA) would lead from start to finish to win his second feature of the season. Joe Emmert (Weedville, PA) would take second, Zach Gustafson (Weedville, PA) third, Del Cleer (Kane, PA) fourth and Brian Fabiano (Ridgway, PA) fifth. Heat wins went to Brandon Blauser (Westline, PA) and Colwell.
The second feature of the evening was the Zook Motor Inc. Pure Stock division. Gary Hepler (Kersey, PA) and Mike Stefano (St Marys, PA) would battle for the lead with Stefano taking the lead on lap 6 and keeping it to win his first feature of the season. Derrick Schloder (St Marys, PA) second, Ben Asel (Kane, PA) third, Brad Curran, Jr. fourth and Josh Keith (Kane, PA) fifth. Heat wins went to Hepler and Bob Pack (Marienville, PA).
Next out on the track was the Dyne Excavating LLC Mini Stocks. This feature would see strong running Brad Ullman (Allegany, NY) take the lead on lap one and leading the race to the finish. Henry Himes (Brockway, PA) and John Grimm (Kane, PA) battling for second with Himes prevailing. Grimm, Bill McKinney (Bradford, PA) and Steve Mowery (Olean, NY) would round out the top five.
The last feature of the evening would be the Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI Street Stocks honoring the memory of Bill "Granddaddy" Layfield. John Layfield, son of Bill, would flag for this event. Matt Palmer (Rixford, PA) and Matt Olson (Kane, PA) would set the pace for the event. Palmer would lead for the first six laps, then Olson would take the lead on lap seven and lead to the until a caution would come out on lap sixteen due to the track lights going out, making for management (for safety reasons) to call for the checkers to come out under yellow. Olson would be given the win, with Palmer second, John Williams (Ischua, NY) third, Mike Asel (Kane, PA) fourth and Andy Michael (Allegany, NY) fifth. Heats went to Joe Layfield (Bolivar, NY) and Asel.
Mondays events began with the Dyne Excavating LLC Mini Stocks first on the track, Brad Ullman (Allegany, NY) would cross the checkers first followed by Brent Harris (Bradford, PA), Jeff Asel (Kane, PA), Steve Mowery (Olean, NY) and Jamie Colwell (Knox, PA) rounding out the top five.
The second event was the 100 lap Enduro, forty-one cars would take the start and by the end of the race only nine would be left running with Jim Frank (Jamestown, NY) taking the win. Last would be the Demo eleven cars entered and Thomas Baker (Lewis Run, PA) would win.
