RESULTS FOR MAY 20, 2007
ASEL, CARLSON, SCHLODER & MOWERY WIN AT AMR. In the 20 lap Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI Street Stock feature Matt Palmer (Rixford, PA) and Mike Asel (Kane, PA) battled for the lead and by lap 6 Asel managed to get the lead and led the race to the finish. Palmer would take second, Andy Michael (Allegany, NY) third, Matt Olson (Kane, PA) fourth and Kane, PAs Craig Rex finishing fifth. Heat wins went to Chris Austin (Knapp Creek, NY) and Olson. The second feature of the night the Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI 4cyl. Charger division saw Dustin Bowen (Kane, PA) and Sean Carlson (James City, PA) set the field for the 15 lap feature. Carlson would take the lead on lap one and lead the pack to the finish. Bowen would hold off the strong charges of Jon Mong (Knox, PA) for the second place finish. Mong, Del Cleer (Kane, PA) and Zach Gustafson (Weedville, PA) rounded out the top five. Heat wins went to Bowen and Carlson. The third feature of the night was the Zook Motor Inc. Pure Stock 20 lap feature. Derrick Schloder (St Marys, PA) would charge up to the front from his eighth place starting position to take the lead from Mike VanZandt (Rimersburg, PA) by lap eight and led to the checkers for his third feature win this season. VanZandt would finish second followed by Brad Curran, Jr (Port Allegany, PA), Mark Schweikart (Emporium, PA) and Kane, PAs Josh Keith. Heat winners Ben Asel (Kane, PA) and Schloder. The last feature of the night was the 20 lap Dyne Excavating LLC Mini Stocks. Steve Mowery (Olean, NY) would lead from start to finish, followed by Brad Ullman (Allegany, NY), Richard Kline (Bolivar, NY), Kevin Dzuroff (Hinsdale, NY) and Justin Yohe (Bradford, PA). Heat wins went to Mowery and Ullman. We would like to thank everyone who came out and braved the weather with us.
