RESULTS FOR MAY13, 2007
ULLMAN, MICHAEL, COLWELL & SCHLODER WIN AT AMR. The first feature of the evening was the 20 lap Dyne Excavating Mini Stocks. Brad Ullman (Allegany, NY) would take the lead from his 4th place starting position on lap 1 and lead the whole race to pick up his 1st win of the season. Bill McKinney (Bradford, PA) would finish 2nd, Chris Paar (Mt Jewett, PA) 3rd, Bobby Carlson (James City, PA) 4th and David Lowe, Jr (Eldred, PA) 5th. Heat Winners: Brad Ullman and Bill McKinney. Next up was the 20 lap Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI Street Stocks. The crowd would see Andy Michael (Allegany, NY) and Matt Palmer (Rixford, PA) battle for 1st with Michael prevailing by lap 3. Michael would lead the race to the finish. Palmer took 2nd, Joe Layfield (Bolivar, NY) 3rd, Kane boys Craig Rex and Matt Olson rounded out the top 5. Heat Winners: Craig Rex and Joe Layfield. The third feature of the evening was the Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI 4cyl. Chargers. The 15 lap feature would see Knox, PA's Jamie Colwell charge to the front of the pack from his third row starting position and take the lead on the first lap. He would then lead the race to victory with Sean Carlson (James City, PA) 2nd, Zach Gustafson (Weedville, PA) 3rd, Del Cleer (Kane, PA) 4th and Dustin Bowen (Kane, PA) finishing 5th. Heat Winners: Jamie Colwell and Sean Carlson. The 20 lap Zook Motors Inc. Pure Stock feature was the last race of the night. Derrick Schloder (St Marys, PA) who started 6th would grap the lead from the beginning and lead to the end to capture his 2nd feature win of the season. Brad Curran, Jr. (Port Allegany, PA), Jack Hepler, Jr. (Weedville, PA), Dennis Olson (Kane, PA) and Mark Schweikart (Emporium, PA) rounded out the top 5. Heat Winners: Josh Keith (Kane, PA) and Schloder. Harry and Sandy would like to thank all of the drivers, fans and sponsors that support the track. Thanks to all of you who came out on Mothers Day, it was our biggest crowd this season. Next Sunday 5-20 at Allegheny Mountain Raceway will be the Dyne Excavating LLC Mini Stocks, Zook Motor Inc. Pure Stocks, Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI 4 cyl Chargers and Hometown Country 103.9fm-WLMI Street Stocks, gates open at 3 racing at 5. Then on Sunday 5-27 Bill Layfields Memorial Race featuring the Street Stocks along with the Minis, Pures and Chargers. Also on Monday 5-28 we will be having a 100 lap Enduro race $500 to win, $200 to win Demo and $300 to win Mini Stock Special. |
