VOTERS: Please take the time to read the rules at the bottom of this page. These rules will be followed when the awards are given out.
CONTEST RULES:
1. Only votes on official ballots from the weekly programs will be counted. Any reproductions of the official ballot will be voided. One vote for a driver in each class is allowed on the ballot. If more than one driver is listed for the same class, the votes for drivers in that class will be voided.
2. Any driver that has competed at A.M.R. at least 8 times in a particular class during the 2008 season will be eligible to win the award for their class at the end of the season. If a driver changes divisions, the points will not be transferred, nor will any previously cast ballots be allowed to be changed. Only one vote per class. If a driver isn't registered in the class on which line you write the name, the vote will not count! For the 2008 season, awards will be presented to the FOUR weekly divisions - Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, Chargers & Pure Stocks.
3. Complete driver rosters are included in the program each week. Please make sure that driver names are spelled correctly and include both first and last name since several drivers in a class could have the same last name. Also, please print legibly on the ballot. If the names cannot be made out, the ballot will be voided.
3. Ballot box is located at the track concession stand on Sundays. Votes will be counted each week after the conclusion of the day's activities. Vote totals will be posted on the website each week and included in the weekly program available for sale at the track. All ballots will be retained by the track for verification.
4. Contest will continue throughout the 2008 point season (Championship Night). All ballots should be filled out and submitted as soon as possible. Final vote totals will be tabulated at the end of the point season. In the event of a rainout or other cancellation at the end of the season, no further ballots will be accepted. Therefore, it is advised that you fill out and drop off any ballots the same day the programs are purchased.
5. Awards will be presented to the drivers with the highest vote totals at the end of the season.
