Inaugural Race: May 26, 2001

Track Elevation:  approx. 2100 feet

Track Length: Inside Groove - approx. 1/4 mile
Outside Groove - approx. 1/3 mile

Track Configuration:  slightly banked clay/dirt surface; oval track with 2 straight stretches and similar corners.

Track Location:  The track is located in the village of Lamont, PA in Elk County PA, 1/2 mile south of the McKean/Elk County Line off Highland Road.

Weekly Program Day/Time:  Sunday Afternoons/Evenings starting at 5:00PM

Classes Currently Competing:  Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks & 4 Cylinder Chargers run each regular 4-division program weekly. Specials for other divisions may also be scheduled throughout the year.

Point System:  60 points to Win an A-Main feature, dropping by 4 points to second then 2 point per position down to 50, then dropping by 1 point down to a minimum of 40.  

The point system that AMR uses has been designed to reward consistency and attendance.

Heat Lineup Procedure:  
Draw for heat starting spot each week

Feature Lineup Procedure:

After the completion of all of the heats, the pit steward or attendant will draw pills out of a can containing the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4. The order that the pills are drawn will be applied to our 4 weekly divisions in the order that the classes ran their heats. The pill draw # will correspond to the number of positions from the heat finishes that will be inverted for the feature.

A pill draw of 1 means a heads up start from heat finishes.
A pill draw of 2 means the 2nd place heat finishers are lined up first followed by the 1st place finishers, 3rd place finishers and 4th place finishers.
A pill draw of 3 means 3rd place finishers are lined up first, then 2nd, then 1st, then 4th place finishers.
A pill draw of 4 is 4th place, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place finishers in that order.

The rest of the field is lined up after these cars in the order they finished in their heats.
